This is downright cool. It accomplishes a lot of what I’d like to see in new digital drivers licenses or national ID’s – some kind of way to consolidate all the little items that we carry around with us on a daily basis. I have 20 or so of those cards on a keychain, and would love to only have one. The military is on the right track with their Common Access Cards, which can be used to buy things, get into buildings, access computers, etc.

The coolest thing about the Chameleon has to be backwards compatability. Imagine all the benefits of one card without waiting 10 years for standards to hash out?
