p(update). “(extlink)Dave Winer”:http://blogs.law.harvard.edu/crimson1 chimed in with It would be much better to track the candidates by issues, rather than watching reporters… What you’ll find out when you track reporters is that they aren’t doing their job. This has very limited value. I find that I strongly disagree as it seems that Dave is missing the point. I don’t think that the goal of blogging reporters is to contribute to the discussion of politics directly, it’s to provde context to interpret the validity of comments by members of the press. With so many individuals of all political denominations complaining about “media bias” how better to address issues of media spin by allowing people to judge a source’s reliabilty and objectivity? It’s kind of like media metadata.
