This post is a test of Ecto for the Mac. Ecto is the desktop blogging client formerly known as Kung-Log. It’s a fairly powerful program for entering and maintaining blog entries, though unfortunately it doesn’t have the MT bookmarklet’s ability to auto-discover trackbacks in webpages.
I’ve encountered problems with 1.0.1 of the program with regards to downloading past entries. We’ll see if the normal uploading features work out all right.
Ecto supports most of the MT goodies, however, like extended entries, trackbacks, text-filters, etc.
