I do enjoy the way that Wordpress includes the edit links at the bottom of the posts if you’re logged in. It certainly makes editing existing entries simpler.

I’m not sure why the layout currently seems to be broken. I’ll be investigating as I investigate more of Wordpress in general.

UPDATE: The broken layout was caused by text in an entry where angled brackets were not being escaped properly. The NYTimes uses “&rt;” in their article titles, but wordpress did not escape them when they appeared in the text. It has been fixed, and so far I’ve been happy enough with Wordpress to strongly consider moving my blog here. We’ll see in a bit.

I’m strongly considering moving to Wordpress from Movabletype mostly as I’ve never been able to successfully configure comment spam blocking in MT.
